Youtube.com now working
Youtube is not working, atleast here in India/BSNL. It shows up an error page.
You tried to access the address http://www.youtube.com/, which is currently unavailable
But this problem is only with youtube.com and in.youtube.com, if i try uk.youtube.com or anyother country’s youtube, it works perfectly fine for me. What could be the reason?
Why is iphone priced at 31k in india?
Finally iPhone has come in India, the price is 31k for 8G and 36k for 16 G, which is almost more than three times the actual cost. What is the reason behind this? The manufacturing cost inclusive of all the profits comes up tp 400$ which is around 16k INR. Are they charging us for the 3G iphone or 3G license? Will explore the reason behind this.
This the confirmation letter i got from a Service Provider.They are asking me to pay the actual price, i.e 10k as advance to get the iphone.

RoamAbout is a Browser plugin, i guess this is the only plugin which comes for both Firefox and IE. RoamAbout allows you to browser through the web carrying whatever you want, you can carry around all web services as required and just play with them. It is really easy to use web 2.0 product.

And apart from this, there are other misc services too like weather, chat etc. RoamAbout roams about the concept of Contextual Browsing. It is a DOM Overlay, where in it allows the user to browse as well as use the apps, which i have never seen anywhere before.
Top 3 things which i like about RoamAbout:
- DOM overlay, compared to annoying window pop-ups, this gives you a wonderful experience, which allows you to browse and use.
- Wikipedia – Instead of going to wikipedia every time, this is really helpful for me
- Youtube/Flickr – No reason.. i just love them

Safari User Agent iphone and more
Safari has one feature will allow you to make the browser behave like any other user-agents(IE, FF, Opera etc). This is done be changing the User Agent in the develop menu.
Develop -> User Agent, if you dont find this DEVELOP menu item in the menu bar, click on Edit->Preferences and add this.
Once i faced a cross browser issue in IE, for one of our applications, i did a fix and it worked well in IE, but when i changed the user agent in Safari to IE, the fix failed. Then rose a situation, where it became essential for me to handle this separately(Safari with USER agent as IE). I noticed a peculiar rather interesting thing, in dojo, there is a statement dojo.render.html.mozilla or dojo.render.html.safari will return a boolean in normal scenario whereas in Safari-User Agent, it will return a array of objects, so with that we conditionally detected the actual browser and made the fix.
This was one bugging thing about the Safari -User Agent, but there is a interesting thing about this, which will fetch you free stuff, read your favorite magazines online. You want to know how? check this here.
